A Reason To Survive: Annual ARTSea Cafe Gala Invitation Mailer
The Challenge: Design a mailable invitation that inspires attendance, promotes the Midtown Men’s performance and communicates the world class guest chef roster.
The Result: We designed a sleeve and poster combination that commanded attention and brought in support. A Reason To Survive had another successful event and reinforced their ability to provide an exceptional and deeply needed service to children.

MIHO Gastrotruck: Food Proverbs Custom, Hand-Painted Truck Design
When MIHO approached us to help launch their food truck business, we knew that they’d be taking street food to new heights. Our branding and design work had to do the same. As a brand, MIHO understands philosophically the importance of fresh, local and sustainable food. They also hold themselves to the highest standards of quality and deliver on their ideals every day with tangible, delicious meals served on the streets of San Diego. Our design for the truck brought to life the vast array of influence and inspiration the team draws on by spelling out food related proverbs and quotations from around the world. As a non-profit organization, ARTS is always looking for maximum impact for minimum investment. For their 2009 annual fundraising gala, we created a solution that did so. And beautifully.
USD School of Law: Prospective Student Bulletin
Featuring 70 pages of important information for the select few with grades and LSAT scores high enough to be considered for this top-notch law school, the bulletin for The University of San Diego’s School of Law was a blast to design. Particularly enjoyable for us: working with Patrick and Ashley at USD (thanks for the solid vision!) and photographer Tim Mantoani (wonderful images and easy going approach).
